President Buhari has secured Osun State as he emerged the winner in the state by scoring the highest votes in Osun State.
INEC just announced that Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC) scored 347,634 votes while Atiku Abubakar of the people’s democratic party (PDP) got 337,377 votes in Osun State.
The INEC officer in charge of collation, Proffessor Toyin Ogundipe, announced at the INEC headquarters in Oshogbo early this morning at about 12.25am that Buhari scored 347,634 votes in the state.
At the same time it was made known by the proffessor and Vice-Chancellor of University of Lagos (UNILAG) that Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) got 337,377 votes.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reported this morning that the total number of voters registered was 1, 674, 729, while the number accredited voters was 732, 984, which made the valid votes to be 714,682 and the ones rejected was 17,200.
Ogundipe also said that the number of votes cast was 731,882.
